As the province begins to reopen and as we start to step out of the pandemic period, Canada’s food banks continue to experience a surge in demand. Food banks worry that high demand will endure beyond the pandemic.
Inforce Foundation’s 2021 Food Drive program will be working in partnership with small-businesses across the GTA. The food collection bins will be picked up from each location by Inforce Foundation volunteers. The donation of non-perishable food items and other essential supplies will be made to local food banks, including the Native Child & Family Services of Toronto’s Food Hamper Program.
