Thanks to our generous donors for helping us spread joy to families in need this holiday season!

Inforce Foundation’s Holiday Gift Drive donations were made to the Native Child & Family Services of Toronto. Native Child and Family Services of Toronto (NCFST) is a multi-service urban Aboriginal agency providing holistic, culture-based programs and services for Aboriginal children and families.

A growing food insecurity crisis in Toronto has been exacerbated by COVID-19. Food Banks continue to worry that high demand will endure beyond the pandemic as people living in poverty are often the first to be affected during periods of downturn and the last ones to come out in recovery.

Thanks to all our individual donors and small-business partners of Inforce Foundation’s Fall Food Drive, we donated approximately 1,123 lbs of non-perishable food items to the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities Food Bank.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Inforce Foundation focusses on creating awareness and helping communities deal with the stress and anxiety by organizing free webinars.

1. Youth Mental Wellness Webinar
2. Online Yoga Session
3. Heart & Stroke Webinar

On July 18, 2020 Inforce Foundation hosted a Curbside Food Drive Event to help collect non-perishable food items in a safe, contactless manner. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the economy, and Canada’s food banks have experienced a surge in demand. Our Curbside Food Drive Event helped collect over 800 lbs of non-perishable food items. All donations of food items were made to two local food banks: The Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities and the TAIBU Community Health Centre.

As the global pandemic continues, health-care workers selflessly work grueling shifts treating infected patients. Inforce Foundation is actively working to provide healthy meals to front-line workers in the Greater Toronto Area. With the ongoing support of our donors, we have now provided 3000+ meals and 160+ mask extenders to frontline workers. We have also supported community health centres, including Anishnawbe Health Toronto, by making a donation towards Personal Protective Equipment.

When the choice is to pay rent or buy groceries, many households simply go hungry. Understanding this dire need, Inforce foundation initiated a food drive of non-perishable and unexpired food items. With the support of our generous donors, we were able to collect 100 lbs. of food items. Partnering with the Daily Bread Food Bank, Inforce Foundation’s team of volunteers helped sort food items to be delivered across Toronto.

Health promotion and awareness is a critical component of public health. In partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Inforce Foundation organized a very informative session on the prevention and management of heart disease and stroke.

In line with our strategic global priorities, Inforce Foundation has made a meaningful donation to help a family establish a sustainable source of income in South Asia.

Around the world, many children still start life at a disadvantage simply because of who they are and where they are from. Inforce Foundation has prioritized to help children reach their full potential. In this quest, we support kids in Sri Lanka in need of medical treatment, and help provide the necessary resources for their education.
